| <<This story takes place not too long after our favorite hero's kicked witch-butt for a second time...>> Soon after been awakened by her two sisters, Mingella & Blobbelda, Gruntilda the witch began formulating a new plan for revenge to be used against the meddling bird and bear duo, Banjo & Kazooie. Her thirst for revenge only increased as she saw a reflection of herself on a plate of metal. "Ohh...look at me now. From flesh to bone to metal. What has become of me." she said as she slowly walked towards her sisters. Grunty looked back at her two previous foiled plans and began to see where they had gone wrong. Each time she did, she came up with the same outcome. Banjo & Kazooie! "Those two have been solely responsible for my repeated demise! But not for much longer!" she said. Gruntilda's sister told her of a new weapon they had build to aid them. Their new modified cannon, is capable of sucking up life force from its target and using it to destroy all forms of life as well as turning any animals in proximity into the living dead. But their new cannon was far too powerfull to be fired from any of the witches lairs. "So intense blast range is; save distance must be fired from." said Blobbelda as she wobbled over to the computer and pressed a button. Blue prints of a space station came up on the screen. "New lair we have build for you. You like yes?" said Mingella as she began showing Grunty the blue prints. "Perfect! Lets go there now!" replied Gruntilda as she cast a spell to take the witches aboard the station. <<ABOARD GRUNTY'S NEW SPACE STATION LAIR, SSRB>> Upon arriving Grunty ran at the controls as fast as she could. Just as she prepared to fire the cannon at Banjo's Island home, her sister, Blobbelda and Mingella, reminded her that the cannon hadn't been tested, and that it would be best to fire a test round somewhere to make sure the cannon worked as it was supposed too. After much persuasion Gruntilda targeted the cannon at a small island at sea and fired. WHHHOOSHHH!!! <<BACK AT BANJO AND KAZOOIES' HOME>> "STOP HOGGING THE CONTROL!!" yelled Kazooie the Red-crested Breegull, "But you've already had more goes than me!" replied Banjo, the honey bear, as he snatched the control to their favorite game from Kazooie. "Guys guys! Lets all play nice now.." said the bashful mole, Bottles, "SHUTUP GOBBLES!!" barked the Breegull just before Mumbo the Shaman ran in, "WITCHES ARE BACK!", he said as he tried to catch his breath, "W-what!!" said Bottles as he hide under the cushion he was holding "Mumbo had vision.....of the witches returning..." mumbo replied just before being interrupted by the ill-mannered Kazooie "You stupid bone head! It must have been just a dream!" She yelled as the Shaman pushed them all outside. "You must listen, Witches are back and they have new evil plan!" he said, "Bear and Bird must stop them before ..." he continued but was interrupted by a loud thundering sound and a huge beam of light hitting the ground somewhere passed the walls of spiral mountain. The ground shook for a moment before subsiding. "Corr...What was that!!" said Banjo, "Witches!" replied Mumbo, "That wasn't a witch, that was huge beam of some sort!!", said Kazooie, "Witches are behind all this...", replied the Shaman, "Bear and Bird must try to find out what witches are up to this time. I will help you along the way, but I must do something first. We'll catch up later on." said Mumbo as he ran off somewhere as fast as he could. "Yes, I'll help you too" said Bottles as he walked out from under his cushion. "Ohh...I'd better go tell Mrs. B that I'll be gone for a while, I'll catch up with you in a while" he said as he jump in one of his tunnel entrances. "OHhhh...and today started off so peaceful..", said banjo as he scratched his head, "I guess we'd better get going Kazooie." "You bet! Off to another adventure!" she replied in excitement and she jumped into Banjo's backpack... << BACK ON BOARD GRUNTY'S STATION LAIR>> The cannons beam had hit the island covering the whole area in a thick cloud of dust. Grunty jumped with excitement as she thought of the looks on the bear and birds faces as she destroyed their island home. No more than a few seconds had passed since the cannon had fired that Grunty began targeting Banjo' island. "You must wait!" yelled Mingella. "Effects of the cannon can only be seen a few hours after hitting target." "Yes, and cannon must cool down before it is fired a second time or cause over heating of the firing barrel", added Blobbelda. "Very well!..." replied Grunty as she crossed her arms in disappointment. "We will wait for the cannons effect to become visible. Then once we're sure the cannon's works and has cooled, we'll fire at that pesky Bear and Bird." The Sisters nodded at each other to show their approval of the plan. Grunty clasped her metallic hands and looked out of the near by viewing window. "Sooooon.... my filthy nemeses....soon..." she said just as she and her sisters cackled madly. |
