Steve's musical training started at a young age with piano lessons in The Netherlands. His aptitude for music soon became apparent, then after moving to Ottawa in 1985 he began playing keyboards in his first professional rock band. Since then, he's played not just keyboards, but guitar as well as drums in several rock bands through the years. In 1995, Steve established his own school of music : Geyer Music and started playing keyboards at the Ottawa Senators' hockey games. Steve has worked as a session player in many prestigious studios in Toronto & Ottawa and has written & produced records for many groups & organizations. When not playing with Barrelhouse, Steve can also be caught onstage with the Led Zeppelin tribute act "The Vibe Remains The Same" |
