The Beaumont Hills Observatory is located in Beaumont Hills, NSW, Australia. S 33 41' 43.69 E 150 56' 32.56 It operates a 12in LX200GPS telescope on a permanent polar aligned wedge. Also available is a 10" LX200 Classic to be used as a portable telescope. Other accessories include a Meade LPI imager, DSI Imager, Computer control and video monitor. The observatory is a 2.4 metre square shed built from Colour Bond sheets on a timber frame and supports a 2.3 metre Sirius dome. There is a built in jib crane to lift the telescope on and off the pier. |
