Club Info

The Batangas Aeromasters Radio Control Assocition (BARADAS) was organized on September 2 2001 by a group of enthusiastic modelers. Our group  includes 23 regular members and 3 honorary members. Meetings is held every second Sunday of the month. Visitors are encouraged to visit and observe our meetings.

Our club offers the following:

  1. A fantastic place to fly, with some of the best people to fly with.
  2. We share our grass field with full scale aircraft. On weekends, it wont be unusual to witness a couple of flights by our full scale pilots in their clipped wing J3 Cub, PA 22 Tri-Pacer, Citabria, to name a few.
  3. The field is well maintained by its owner, Manny Barradas, who has been our gracious host since modelers discovered this RC haven.
  4. Club members and their families are welcome to use the club house and pool facilities which are part of the airfield complex (again thanks to our host, Manny Barradas).
  5. Top-notch flight instructors are available for beginners.
  6. Constrcution help and advice is always available to any member in need of help.
  7. Participation in club organized events at various times of the year including the Barradas Cup which runs every 30th of November to coincide with Mr. Barradas' birthday.

In short, this club offers an excellent place for people to come together to help each other and to have the best time enjoying the hobby we love.

To get to our field, follow directions bellow:

Our field is located at Barangay Santor, Tanauan Batangas, Philippines. From Makati, take South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) all the way to the end (Exit 50). Exit heading towards Batangas. About 7 Kilometers from Exit 50, take a right to enter STAR highway. Take first exit (SAMBAT Exit) and make a right turn going to Talisay/Tagaytay. About 2 Kilometers ahead, a yellow sign which reads SUNRAY'S nursery will be visible. Slow down, and be ready to take a right at the next road where a BARADAS AIRSTRIP sign is displayed. Follow this road up to the end where you will see an iron gate with World War II vintage 20mm machineguns mounted on each side. Enter this gate and proceed to the next gate which opens into the grass field.
