My Dream

As everybody dreams I too dream, may be for my profession, family, society or human civilization as a whole. For Bihar (Bihar, Jharkhand or India), I have a dream. I want to see when people realize their importance, their value and respect for each other, where people can enjoy their freedom. When people work and they think it is my duty to do with courtesy and doing for the society. There are no chamcha (middleman) no, party worker, no politicians. In a perfect society there is no place for politics and politicians. I want to see when people enjoy freedom from within and their life style is as like any other person.

Some Reasons (Gratefulness)

Most of the people are grateful to a system, which never allows a change. This system is everywhere. Whether it is corrupt politician,
a businessman, or any other employee (Govt. private or whatever). These people form a system. Most of the people have burden of gratefulness or some kind of favor. This may be for getting admission to kinder garden, professional course or getting a job, getting a
license, getting a train ticket or any other work. People get transferred to a division/department/district or whatever not because of their capability but because of some favor (bribe or mutual benefit) to each other. Now a person who has got some favor at some
stage of life how he can deny and say `No'.

Sometimes back friends were talking about NRI not helping/investing in Bihar. They also talked about administrative and development officers. How can they work for ordinary people when he has got a favor from this dirty system. Of course he has to look after his boss, their family (including pets) or even he has buy vegetables for his boss. I see many times, when an underprivileged honest person wants to get service from Bank/Post Office or any public service he is neglected. Sometimes, to do simple money withdrawal (transaction) it takes hours and days in rural areas. People think they are doing favor on them (though it is his money).

One can see many examples. People may have heard, Nagmani, Kunal, Gautam, Hunterwali, Kiranbedi, T N Sheshan and so on. These people went against this system and one can see the result. Everybody barked at Sheshan including all political parties. Because all these
politicians had fear about their identity. They were going to be exposed. Even somebody is caught red handed, other politicians, corporate, business man helps. They all do in an organized way.

Similar things happened with other honest people. If any body opposes, he pays a price and system never changes. We heard recently
similar case with DFO officer Sanjay Singh.

How can any NRI or any financially successful person break a system where his uncle, brother, relative or friend has favored him some point of time. His relative or family members are part of this system. Even after coming to a different world he never changes. Now one should not expect any help for ordinary people. These NRI people get favor at Airport, Custom (somebody's uncle will be waiting to bypass from other gate) and they get favor to get a visa, to get a train ticket or any other petty things.

One cannot expect a relative of CM going to setup an industry or a charity for poor people and unemployed needy people. These people
can help to maintain this system (so that many people are hungry and week).

In a perfect society there is no need of a politician. A politician should have 9-5 jobs and should leave like ordinary people. His work should be monitored and salary should be based on his work. This should be true for all babus, who pretend to live in high status or false prestige.

Examples of Punjab and Kerala are not different. You can see these so called NRI people have suffered a lot of government hurdles. But these NRIs are strong enough to help themselves. People like Pathak (Sulabh Sauchalaya) can only make a change. Only ordinary people can make a difference.

I read an article about Yashwant Sinha. His tax returns for the year 1998-1999 was for 3.96 lakhs (rough figure). While average salary of
Software professionals in Bangalore is above 4 lakhs/annum. One can imagine what is happening with the public and black money.

Example Solutions

One of my ex-colleagues (Mr Thomas (from Kerala) at Tata Elxsi) joined the company after five years doing job in Indian Railways (Telecommunication). He completed his M. Tech from IIT Delhi and joined DRDO in Hyderabad. He got inspired that for an Engineer, the best offer is from UPSC (IES). So after 1-1/2 years at DRDO he tried at IES and got selected in IES (Railways Signal Engineer). He worked there for 5 years. During this period he never used his intellectual skills (just few age old communication systems installations and maintenance). What he learned was `Yes Sir', `No Sir' and abuses he never dreamt of. He could not go against the system.

Currently he is well positioned in WIPRO and has accomplished many achievements. Of course he is happy that his academic credentials and skill were useful at last.

Then, why, people after getting best engineering/course, they opt for a service, where they get abuses and tortured if they don't obey their boss (mostly non -technical). We have to understand this
psychology. If these technical people do jobs of their interest they can do wonders. They can develop systems (IP) and can help society in a broader way. There is nothing wrong for an engineer to choose IAS if he is capable and happy to do his best in an administrative job.

It is never too late for a change. If I don't like this job then I should not continue. Only successful people have to start this
change. A hungry and abused guy will commit same crime whether he is from Bihar, India or France. We need to give jobs to unemployed youth. They are misguided and trapped in this dirty system. They think it is easy money but pay a heavy price. Their dream of their family and children are never fulfilled.

We have to say, uncle, bhaiya, mama, it is over. Now it is time do work with high moral and dignity. Have self respect and become independent. Help neighbors and community without thinking of caste and color. Wherever anything wrong happens, let us protest. Do not think it does not concern so I'm not bothered. This is the reason at some point of time everybody faces the same problem and cycle continues. All criminals, politicians, corrupt -officials are relative of somebody, mama of somebody and so on.

We have to start this noble work at home, every home. As they say "Charity begins at home"!!!

More to continue.....
Till then
