"This one popped out of nowhere during a guitar lesson. I was trying to think of right-hand/left-hand coordination exercises for a student and the intro came up. I sent him home with it to work on, and I ended up writing a song around it in all of five minutes. I have a strange fascination with fast and aggressive songs on albums because people seem to ignore the fact that they really grab your attention in the middle of a dozen mid-tempo numbers, and this is a great vehicle for it. The song is quick and aggressive, and breaks down a few times into slower heaviness, which REALLY makes those parts stick out. The chorus is fairly unique in that it's almost anti-momentum, but by the end of the song just gives in to the flow of the song and I think it works out pretty well. When I go back into the intro after the second chorus for the middle eight, I get to work out my craptastic guitar skills, so that should be fun on stage to bash that out. And we needed a drinking song anyway. The title came about during Repiphanies and stuck with me, so it was a great opportunity to use it."
