After a really disappointing week at CFC, skipper and creche supervisor Paulinho was out and about mixing with the stars again on his yearly search for justice! No, he didn't renew his "Aliens, we breed, come to earth" fan club membership. This week he was a recent guest of honour for the Chairman at Middlesbrough AFC. He was wined and dined, for free, by the Teessiders, neighbours of his former club Glasubalti. In a speech after dinner, he was quoted saying, "This club has a lot to offer, good wages, good supporters, a good playing surface, but where is the named car park I ask?". Well the roof almost came off, the regulars in the riverside restaurant were in barrels of laughter. Later that day, Paulinho was asked by a certain Dutchman, if he didnt mind having his photo taken with him. Paulinho said "For sure, Vorschprung Dorche Technical". The dutchman laughed! After the match we asked Paulinho about CFC's future, he told us "As usual, I am not keen, on talking to the press, but am drunk. CFC has a strong future we never have any luck, where are our penalties, when does the opposition ever score own goals, when will we ever field a full strength team, why is it the goverment covers "aliens" up, they exist!!!" We had to stop the interview, while Paulinho breathed deep through a brown bag, then we started again. What is the teams plan for the summer? "n this close season we are training at a high altitude training ground, to get us in good shape, if we ever get back into the football league. We will most likely do a tour at some point in the latter part of this summer."
Once again the striker, is full of confidence that CFC will live long and prosper and find a league to enter!
