New Plans are Announced

Darren oliver has announced the new plans for the future of CFC. He has put plans to retire on hold after sorting out a new contract with the club. The player was unhappy with the team's failure to be unable to field a full strength team due to other players commitments which understandable as they are, got to the young keeper.

The new deal will see CFC either manage to get 7 players week in week out or move the day of league games to a night through the week to allow each player the chance to play. In what was thought to be the clincher for Oliver to stay was the news that bad boy and the gay fans favourite Anthony Armstrong will be joining the club's books after a succesful loan spell in which the player reached double figures in 3 games. Armstrong is able to play every game if CFC are to enter a weeknight league but cant guarentee to play every game on a sunday due to his commitments with Afghanistan FC.

Oliver also confirmed that the selection process for the 2nd leg of the Glasugate cup is underway after the original plans to even play the game were shelved but it now seems to be back on. Oliver added that he was dissapointed he had to threaten to retire to get the club moving again but it was something he had to do as the club's future looked bleak despite a strong early start to season.
