Castlegate goalkeeper Darren Oliver has confirmed after a trip to see the teams medic at the Q.E hospital that he has badly damaged the muscle in his shoulder. He has been told that the injury should keep him out for a month but the player believes he will not miss more than 2 matches at the most and will be willing to play through the pain barrier if needed. Although the player is no stranger to injuries he is the only CFC member to have never missed a game despite playing with broken fingers. It will come as a blow to the team as they look to keep there good start to the season going. He refused to comment on the scuffle which occured during the game saying its part of the game.
