These are our birds. We recently have purchased a pair of Yellow Crown Amazons that are our only pair of breeders right now, but we plan on getting more after a year or so. We also have a Sun Conure named Baby who is three years old. He was a breeder but had to retire from that lifestyle. Baby has very bad nerve damage due to someone squeezing him too tightly at a bird show. He cant use his right foot well at all, and spends most of his time just hanging from the side of his cage since he falls off of his perches due to the weakness in his feet and leg. But I have to say he is a very spoiled bird! We think he deserves the extra special care he gets. |
