| Christ is the great mediator who intercedes with the Father for all mankind. We believe that prayer makes a difference. So in addition to honoring God, we intercede for all members of the mystical body. | The Lord's prayer was composed by Christ himself and has been called the most sublime of prayers. This and many other prayers are so much a part of Catholic tradition that we try to say them frequently, even everyday. One can pray in the midst of work or recreation by simply recalling God's presence and offering the activity to Him.
