| Dad entered the Marines just before the start of WWII. He had fought on the island of Iwo Jima and said that it had been one of the bloodiest battles of the war. He loved this country so much. Had he been alive now, he would have been as devastated and enraged as the rest of this nation at the horrific and cowardly terrorism of 9/11. |
| We will never forget--our hearts struck by the tragedy and anquish of that day...forever we shall remember the families of the victims in our prayers! And, we honor the heroes of that terrible day, as well. |
