Hey!
You'll even get this nifty picture of me to put on your website, too!
(Please
link it back to me!)
This is Schultz of Sydney, Australia.
He was rescued from an animal shelter and is very athletic. Here
he is working on the 50m dogpaddle for the Canine Olympics. His mom,
Kate, and my mom wrote each other a lot during the Olympics in Sydney (friendly
rivalry!). The internet sure can make the world and little smaller
and friendlier! Click his picture and see his website!
This cute pointer is Salty from
Mississippi. Her people got her from a shelter when she was about
a year old. She invited me to come and chase squirrels with her.
I told her I'm not into squirrels but she and Beau would have a blast.
Her folks have a great website. Click her picture and see!
This lil' guy is Gizmo. He was
rescued when he was eleven and now operates his own shelter.
Here are Rosetti and Galahad, two pointers
from Kennewick, Washington. Along with playing ball with their mom,
they also enjoy showing and finding birds. Check out their site and
you can see they keep pretty busy!
This cool looking pup is Reba, a German
Shorthair Pointer from Indianapolis, IN. GSPs are another type of
upland birddog breed. She's got a pretty good looking point, but she doesn't
hunt birds. Her favorite activity is playing frisbee. Her website
tells about her life (and from the looks of it she has it pretty good!)
and also has information on her breed and the German Shorthair Pointer
Rescue.
This handsome fellow is Joshua.
His mom, Janine, rescued him from a shelter in New York. He impressed
his mom so much that she has gotten very active in Pointer Rescue (She's
the one who tries to find placements for all the Pointers taken into the
rescue). Joshua is so active that his mom got him involved in agility
competitions, and he is a natural! His site shares about his life,
family and his activites with a special page on agility.
This is Westleigh and he is definitely
an all-around athlete of a Pointer! He was rescued from an animal
shelter in Illinois and get his mom, Lisa, involved in field trials, and
he's done pretty good. He is now working on agility. He also
lives with an English Setter, Thelmalou, who does field trials and
agility, too. His mom is the transportation coordinator for Pointer Rescue.
