Wednesday 23 May 2007 I took a visit to Mr. Rinaldi’s office at Jend. Gatot Subroto Street regarding some photos of my paintings. The next day, Thursday 24 May 2007 there was the news about an accident of a tumbling down of a crane tower at a building project of Pacific Place at SCBD in the central Jakarta. A motorcycle rider who went under the crane died instantly, while three other people in two cars were injured. Of course I hope the accident has nothing to do with me. Location of the accident is close to the Jakarta Stock Exchange or in Indonesian Bursa Saham Jakarta, the office of Mr. Erry Firmansyah the older brother of Mr. Rinaldi whom I just visited a day earlier. The word "saham" could also be interpreted as connected with my name A.M. Firmansyah, whereas "Sah A.M." is like having the meaning of "King A.M." or "A.M. the President", since the word "sah" has the meaning of "king". My visit to the office of Mr. Rinaldi was on 23 May 2007, whereas in Indonesia the number "23" has a connotation of "monkey", based on Chinese lottery in the seventies. The word for "monkey" in Indonesian is "monyet" or "kera" that sounds a little bit like the English word "crane". The painting that I offered to Mr. Rinaldi is about Paris Hilton holding a cell phone with Brazilian plants at the background. This painting has been "responded" by president Bush during his speech on the South Lawn at the White House in Washington April 24, 2007, with the background of the green scenery of White House lawn and green Marine One helicopter, like the green Brazilian plant at the background Paris Hilton painting. Another "response" was by Rupert Murdoch when he announced his interest in purchasing US publishing firm Dow Jones, which owns the Wall Street Journal newspaper. Most of all I certainly hope that the crane accident has nothing to do with me. Or if it was a reminder for me, then I should make it clear again here that I have no political interest, I only want to become a painting artist. Especially since the name of the suspect is Dede, the operator of the crane. His name is like the name of my junior high schoool friend Dede Erry Supriya who is now a famous Indonesian painting artist. So the accident is like to remind me that even if I could meet with Mr. Erry Firmansyah, it would be about painting, not about politic.

May 15, 2007, in my reply to a friend regarding the possibility of my attending the Reunion event of 26 May 2007, I wrote: "I still have no certainty about whether or not I would come, because I prefer to attend the meetings with high society people, ……….high on top of the trees!!!!!" Of course it was just a joke, related to monkey on top of the trees, inspired by a Trans-7 TV program "Empat Mata" or "Four Eyes" in which Pepy, one of the musicians, often ridicule the host Tukul with "get back to the top of the tree……!". Around two days later, May 17, 2007, there was the news at Yahoo News Photos about Paris Hilton sentence. Her sentence in jail would only half of the 45 days planned, or only 23 days. In Indonesia, number 23 is famous as the number of "monkey", based on Chinese lottery in the seventies. Also on May 17, 2007, my ex-senior high school friends announced the changes of the plan of a monthly meeting, from 26 May 2007 to 23 may 2007, at Penang Bistro, Pakubuwono Street, South Jakarta.
