That's Sprite!
My Chihuahua "Sprite".
Sprite was about 3 months old and weighed less than  2 lbs, When I brought him home..
Here is Sprite. He is going to be 5 years old on Oct. 8th, 2004.  I got Sprite from a Pet Store I worked at that told me they Did NOT get there Puppies from Puppy Mills, that used "Private Breeders".. as I would not want to support or work for a place that used Puppy Mills. But one Day I saw a Tiny Chihuahua in a cage (he weighed about less than 2 lbs), I open the cage to pet him and he just rolled over, Belly up and wagged his tail. He was a Sweet as could be. I soon found out that he had "Open Fontanel" which is an opening in the skull (like a hole) and in Chihuahua's it never closes. New Born Babies some times get this, but in Babies it seals (closes) Well I came to find out that he would have to be returned due to this condition, the store said they only sell's what they consider are "Show Quality" and Healty Dogs, Well I asked about what would happen to him. No One wanted to say.. but implied he would be put to sleep. So right then and there I knew that the store did use Puppy Mills, as a true Private Breeder (which are People who Breed Dogs from there Homes, with LOVE) would never put a puppy to sleep if brought back. So I decided to bring him home, though I did have to pay the whole saler price. It was well worth it. So Sprite came home to stay!!
Sprite keeps warm at the Dog Park.
