Welcome to my Home Page! My husband and I lived in the Sacramento Area of California for over 40 years when we pulled up stakes in 2005 to move to the Treasure Valley (Boise) of  Idaho.  Clyde at a Home Coach is the original "Loan-a-Ranger"; he is a real estate broker and creative real property lender. Semi-retired in 2002 had me selling on eBay,  working half-time in graphic arts,  and now web page maintenance. We love traveling on two wheels or four.
Winter in Idaho is proving a radical departure of previous experience for this California native.  While in the Northern California area we enjoyed extensive water recreation, bike trails, skiing, fishing, hiking and camping, the Sierra Mountains, Pacific Ocean, California redwoods, vineyards and hot springs. They do seem to have most of that here along with snow (no ocean--different mountain ranges), desert views and drier climate.
Opening an entirely new chapter in our lives in 2008, we bought a Winnebago Minnie Winnie. Shortly after,  we headed south and for parks unknown. Like motorcycling, RV'ing is a world apart and seems to be age appropriate for the retired and happy traveler. Not a minute too soon as winter comes early and stays awhile in Idaho!

Our little Bichon Frise--major imp--super smart and incredibly sweet--had her own little babies/first litter December of 2007.  Four boys and one girl. Photo bottom right, puppies have achieved 8 weeks and are showing major personalities, lots of puppy love and kisses. See the video for these puppies playing with their treat ball. Oops! They seem to prefer the camera!
Road Trips
In 1999, we took up motorcycle riding and met a fraternity of people and saw Northern California in a totally new perspective.  In Summer, 2000, I joined the Gold Country Riders chapter of WOW. Ladies in Idaho formed a chapter of Women on Wheels we called the Idaho Gems. Please see my "Motobuddies" page.
Check out the WOW ride-in to Springfield, Missouri, July 2007. Incredible roads and best ride-in ever included my hubby and his newbie riding buddy, Ray
The WoW ride-in destination for 2005 was coincidentally to Boise. Riding to Boise with my Gold Country Riders was bitter-sweet being my last ride with the ladies and with the move to Idaho, we were busy during the ride-in handling construction and relocation details.  I had the privilege, however, of creating the winning T-shirt and pin designs and we all had a great send-off party at the Boise ride-in hotel.
Among other rides in 2003, I participated in the Pony Express Relay for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation fundraiser.  I rode the Western Trail from Seattle, WA to Ventura, CA.  Pony Express campaigns have previously raised over $1,525,000 for the fight against breast cancer. Pony Express Rides are scheduled approximately every two years. See my motobuddy page for additional information.
Participating on the Medallion Pass Team for the Pony Express Relay--"Riding for the Cure" is an emotional and powerful experience.
