The Radio Room
(my links)
Welcome to the radio room, where other agents, er, fan's can get together and share ideas.  These are not just a bunch of links, but places to go to actually interact with other Ranma or other fan fiction fans. And I have links here to. If you want to post a link here, just e-mail me and I will get it added.  Also, if you have a wep bage that basicly only has one fan fic on it (one that you wrote yourself) send that to me as well, and I will post it here, and in the vault.

P.S. If you should happen to drop in on him, e-mail to post my fic already, kay ( ^-^)

J.P's Ranma 1/2 Fan Fiction Review
Not a whole lot in the way of flashy grafics, but if your after good Ranma 1/2 Fan Fiction, this is a grate place to start.  J.P. Rewiews Ranma 1/2 Fan Fiction, and as far as I have romed, is one of the oldest and by far one of the most fair and strict revewer.  When he fives something five stars, it's earned it, and is a worthy read for even the most discriminating of tasts.
Soul Trek
Every now any then, one stumbles on something new.  I've seen RPG (role playing games) before on the net before.  Some are more traditional Dungeons and Dragons, using virtual dice and played in chat rooms.  Others are more freewheeling.  Regardless, it seems that every one and there pet dog have a system that they made and play (usually only with there grade school friends).

Soul Trek would fall under the third category.  But unlike most RPG, where the GM (Game Master) dictates and controls all actions of the characters and plot, Soul Trek is propelled by the discipline and creativity of the players, or are called writers here.  The result is a brand of Role Play that can actually be a good read, even without participation.  Provided you don't mind starting in the middle of something.

Fellow sights in the city of Wichita, Ks.

Before you start with the Toto jokes, yes, I am located in Wichita, Kansas. And there are other Anime fans here too.  All though I will grant you, there aren't many of us.  All the more reason that we need to stick together, and help each other out the way that any good neighbor would. (All right, you city folk can stop vomiting now.)  So if your based in Wichita or any where in Kansas for that mater, throw me a link.

Mistress of Dark is a close friend if mine is into Dark Poetry.  And there is only one work to describe her work.  WOW!  But be for warned, this prose is not for the week hearted.

Central Anime is a sight for a Fan Sub club for Anime in genral.  He also has a smal E-Commerce Page: Todd's Resin Universe

Hajime Anime Club of WSU (Wichita State University) is the official anime club on campus.

Free learning how to write web pages.
[ Skip to how to write links | Skip to how to draw links | Top | Home ]
They say that you can learn any thing on the web.  But that doesn't necessarily say that you can learn it for free.  When I came line, one of the first things I did was look for "learning how to write" pages, and I found quite a few of them.  But most of them were fee for services.  Some were the $20 dollar per month for a pass word variety, while others charged a tuition starting at $200 and going up as high as you with.  One sight had an annual tuition of $1200 (software not included).

That's a lot of money.  Truth is that the pay sights I mentioned above are all pages dedicated to advanced writing.  The instructors to these courses will probably assume that you already know the basics, and already have talent and competence.  There also for only the serious writer, one who is probably seeking to make it a career.

But for some reason, paying lots of money to learn how to write (the basics any way) seems to me to be a cardinal sin or something.  A lot like charging some one to teach them how to read, most literacy programs are free.  Teaching some one how to write is just a natural extension to teaching reading.  So there are free sights out there.  They're just harder to find, and is one reason that I have them here.

But do keep in mind that you do get what you pay for.  I don't post the shabby or the overly brief "how to" web pages, but your bound to encounter differences in stile and experience.  This is just par for the course, and is actually part of the fun.  It's also a sign that you are starting to get the hand of it when you pick up inconstancies, or even contradictions.

These pages may be free, but trust me, if you're really want to learn, there worth checking out.

Language Translators
The use of non-English words in works of fiction is not entirely all that un-common. Especially when other non-domestic cultures are involved in the story. That's why I have set aside this section in the Radio Room, to give you recourses to enrich your works of fiction with.

But keep in mind one thing.  Using foreign words in something for an English only audience is actually rather risky.  The risk is that you will confuse your reader, or even chasing your reader away all together because key words are not apart of the typical vocabulary.  So use non-English words sparingly, and with plenty of context.

If you want more information, then check out an essay I have in the Field Training Guide.  I also have a limited Japanese-English dictionary for Ranma 1/2 fan fiction.

So, you want to link up you sight with mine.  Cool.  But there is a price.  I need a link to your page to add to my radio room. (You scrach my back, I scrach yours.)  Here, I have posted a few banners that you can use. If you would like a banner of a difrent size, or are having truble adding the link, then please do not hesitate to ask.

I am also trying a different approach to the posting of my fan fiction to other sights.  All you need to do, is to use the banner to link up a special page.  No fuss, no muss.  You don't have to worry about keeping it maintained.  Let me know what you think of this idea.  Again, I have only one condition, e-mail me a link so I can add it to my radio room.
