JORDAN ALEXANDER AT FIVE
Alex is now 5 1/2  years old.  He is growing and changing every day and continues to amaze us. He is very strong and active.  He's become very muscular and David often comments on his "baby Six Pack".  There is no stopping him when he sets his mind to doing something whether it be physical or mental challenges.

Alex is now 41 inches tall and 37 lbs.  That is up 2 inches and 5 lbs from last yer. McKenzie has blown past him, but the doctor assures us that it's just that girls have growth spurts at different times than boys and that he will still most likely catch up when his spurt kicks in. (I compared him to Sean and Jon David at the same age and he is smaller than they were and will probably be shorter as an adult.)

Alex is again playing soccer, soon finishing his 3rd season. (Two with mom as head coach and now with mom as Assistant Coach since she is so busy running Sean's team.)  He really enjoys it and is a very fast runner.  He has the great potential and can sometimes make a goal from kickoff.  His soccer nickname is "Pele' "

Alex is doing wonderfully in Kindergarten.  He has Mr. Roach, the same teacher Sean had, and is doing very well.  He can already write and spell many words and is also doing great at learning to read.  He's doing lots of the "guess" or "memory" reading where he "reads" the word that he thinks should be there, but with some prodding, does very well reading the actual words.  He has gotten a "smiley face" every day for his conduct grades and we expect the first report card will be nothing but high marks when we receive it.  He is very excited to be in school and learning so fast.

We decided to do school pictures for the twins this year like we have for the older boys since they started Kindergarten.  Those and the most recent soccer pics will be posted as soon as I can scan them in.
