Cuddlefish Corner

This webpage is dedicated to the memory of our dear little girl Louise. Louise was born in 1990 with a rare chromosomal disorder known as Trisomy 18. She lived with us for a short but very happy five months. We have many precious memories of our little Louise. To visit Louise's page just click on her name.

Pass family origins

This branch of the Pass clan was formed in December 1984 at the Dee Why Baptist Church.
We were married on a lovely sunny, warm summer's day. After a very nice reception we headed off on our month long honeymoon to Kangaroo Island off South Australia. We came home via The Great Ocean Road and spent Christmas that year with some family in country Victoria. Our first home was a small unit on the beach at Dee Why. It wasn't long before we purchased our first 'house' (a converted shopfront) and our first child was born.

SOFT AUSTRALIA is a support group for Australian families who have been touched by a trisomy. This group was formed in 1996 by two families in NSW. We now have groups in Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia supporting over 100 families. Just click on SOFT for more information.

Rainbow Families

Rainbow families is an email listserve for parents of children with trisomy
It was started in late 1997 by my friend Rainbowkaz (list Mum) to help
parents to find the information they needed about their child's condition
and to bring these families together to give each other much needed love
and support. The need is so great that we have over 100 families from
many different countries who regularly email each other about medical,
