Kildrummy Castle
is located in Scotland in the "Whisky country" between Inverness and
Aberdeen. The castle is a ruin with no intact rooms or
towers. The
most interesting aspect of this castle waslearning about how it was
constructed. The curtain and tower walls are all exposed so that
you
can see how thick they were and what kind of materials they used to
construct them. Some of the other architercural features like
fireplaces and stairways were also exposed so that you could see how
they were constructed. |
