| David Jay Jordan's The Lord's Temple is Human and Sexual The prophet Jeremiah said, 'Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.'(7: 4), because people tend to believe in the physical building whether a church or ynagogue or mosque, and think the building is holy and blessed rather than God. They worship a thing rather than the Creator of all things. And it is for this reason that the prophet Hosea repeated this message in saying, 'Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and buildeth temples' (8: 14). And yet King David felt convicted when he lived in a beautiful house and so wanted the Lord to have a beautiful earthly house or temple as well, rather than just the portable Tabernacle. And so his Son 'Solomon built him an house. Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things? (Acts 7: 47-50). But the Temple wasn't to be worshipped, for even Jesus himself said, the second Temple in Jerusalem would again be destroyed just as Solomon's was. (Mathew 24: 1-2). Because temples are temporal and only a shadow of the real spiritual reality. For as the Lord taught all his disciples, 'Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (I Corinthinians 3: 16). In other words, we are His temple that he wants to live inside. He wants to be part of us and in our hearts to guide us. 'For (we) are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (2 Corinthinians 6: 16) We are the composition of His temple, we are the stones that make it up, just as peter said, 'Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. We are the Bride of Christ that the Bridegroom loves and adores. We are the one that He wants to unite with and become One with, and of whom He will not be ashamed to say that we are His Bride and Beloved. (SEE Bride of Christ Scriptures in Old Testament). And it is this physical/spiritual union that we celebrate in the Communion that we celebrate in honour to His remembrance. Our bodies are His temple and we are his Bride, and it is for this reason that sexual symbolism is so integral in the sacred divine design of Solomon's Temple. (SEE Lord's Temple, Architecture and Sex) David didn't make it up out of his own imagination, but got the details straight from the Lord himself. And it is for this reason, that Solomon's Temple foreshadows the Bridegroom's entry into His Bride at our Wedding Feast after the End of His-Story (See Revelations Timeline). For the light entering the opening of the Holy Place has this obvious connotation in sexuality and is seen in almost all sacred structures. (SEE Lightning, Electricity and Sex) And yet if you think that sex is from the devil, rather than made by the Lord, then surely these things will be hard for you to understand. But into the pure all things are pure. (SEE Sex is Divine) But do the research for yourself, and don't just read my writings, and then compare what you learn with this website called 'King's Solomon's Temple Secrets'. Its explanations are good and graphics easy to understand, even though the author thinks he can copyright the Lord's design, it's still an excellent resource to study in my opinion. And if you hyperlink to his sexual parallels and explanations, all these truths become clearer and clearer, if you have an open mind. So if interested read and study his, 'Sexual Symobolism of Solomon's Temple'. The evidence in history and design and scriptures is pretty convincing, the more you look into it, because the physical parallels the spiritual. For Solomon's Temple does appear to be in the design pattern of our sacred bodies which were 'Made in His Image'. And as can be seen on the web-site it even co-relates to prophecy in Daniel 2, and the image of man shown to King Nebucanezar by the Lord himself. And yet the author and webmaster of the preceeding web-site, is a little leary in explaining the sexuality of the Temple of the Lord, so let's go a step further into possible explanations, especially in relationship to the Lord's Future Prophecy and the Two Pillars in front of the Temple. (Consider Jachin and Boaz Pillars ) For as the Bible and this site mentions, it is decorated with lilies which are a love symbol and feminine. While its pomegranates are obviously masculine and symbolic of the fertility and power of its seeds which we all know come from the male testes. And these are placed on the chapiters of the two pillars that are at the entrance of the Holy Place and its doors. The sacred chamber of course being symbolic of the vagina, and the Holy of Holies being the Womb, dark and lit only by the Light of Light and His Spirit. The Holy of Holies being the most sacred of all places, from whence all creation started and where the Spirit of God resides in all Holiness. (SEE Creation not Evolution) But outside the temple, the two pillars are representative of our two prophets in the End-Time called the 'Two Witnesses' (Revelation 11). And these are the two that guard the entrance way into the Lord's Holy Place or Encampment in the Last Days. (SEE Shepherd's Rod and Entrance test). The one pillar is our King, while the other is our priest or priestess. Why, do I say, there is a possibility that is have a priestess as our priest in the End-Time in carrying for the Ark and the Tabernacle, because in esoteric scriptures, it sometimes refers to them as a he and she, a male and female, a perfect balancing of Jochim and Boaz, one white and one black, as in the Song of Solomon and its passionate love story between them. For do remember in the Last days, every bond shall broken and there will be racial and sexual 'Equality' with the Lord and among His people. Therefore it appears that the sex is involved in the Lord's design of his Temple. And we are that temple, because He doesn't dwell in a Temple made with hands but in us, living temples made by His Hands. We therefore need to receive His Spirit to receive Him and His Salvation ....and then we shall be an ETERNAL TEMPLE of the LIVING GOD.
