Setting: Starfleet Academy Main Campus; San Francisco, California, EARTH
As she stood up, Logan adjusted her Starfleet Academy uniform. She
turned her head, and smiled at Davis. Her father waved to her in excitement, and she returned it with a smile and slight giggle. Admiral Darshin of the
Starfleet Medical Academy presented a diploma of achievement for completing the necessary requirements for becoming a Doctor. Logan took it in her left hand and shook the Admiral's hand with her right. She looked out and saw Marshae and many of her other friends in the row behind the graduates. They stood up and cheered for her as Logan curtsied slightly.

"Ah am sae proud o ye, love!" He wrapped his arms around her as she embraced him in return. He shed a tear and Logan wiped it off. She started smiling. As she let go of her father, she turned around and spotted Marshae. She ran over and hugged her.
"Hey there, Logan."
Logan turned around and saw that Nathan was standing behind her. Her eyes lit
up and she jumped into his arms.
"Ah huvnae seen ye since ye graduated frae Command School last year!" Nathan
put her down and she putted her auburn hair behind her ears. "So, how ye been,
laddie?"
"Oh, uh, not too bad. I'm, uh." Nathan showed her his wedding band on his left
ring finger. Logan glanced and immediately a sadness overcame her. Even though they had ended things when he graduated the year before, she still thought it was possible for them to get back together. But *married*?!?
"Och, laddie! Ye got yerself merit, eh?" She looked down at her feet.
"Yeah, I guess so. I met her in command school." Nathan started playing around with the band.
"Well, I must congratulate ye, then." She hugged him once again, but
was still saddened by the news. She didn't even want to know who this woman was. "Ah must be gaeing with my faither now. Ah hope Ah wull see ye again." Logan walked towards her father, but kept her eyes towards him. She then looked to the ground. She almost started crying as Davis put his arm around her shoulder and they left the building to go pack up her things to go back to Scotland.
All she wanted to think about at the moment was going into this new
Cardassian Medical Exchange Program she had just signed up for. It was of great interest to her, and a great way to start her Medical Career.
And she wanted to break free from her normal life.
