Elliot was walking around the outer hull of the ANUBIS when his thoughts strayed to last night ::Should I have declined Aki's offer to stay the night? I know how I feel and these feeling are not going to change, after all if they have not changed by now then I doubt they will::, Ensign Thomas jumped as a hand was put on his shoulder.
"Hi there, fancy meeting you here." Roxy laughed as she swirled around his waist tightly.
"Oh! Hi there." the COO replied blushing and slowly stepping backwards a few inches to gain his own space back.
"Now that all the provisions are sorted, do you fancy going for a walk on the beach?" the female half human half fox said as she glanced at Elliot and then looked down the sand covered ANUBIS believing it to be a beach.
Before Elliot could open his mouth to reply he heard a familiar voice shout to him. "*Excuse me Mr Thomas* if I'm not interrupting are we still on for lunch or not?" Ensign Mitshiba said in a dry and stern tone.
"Eh! Oh! Em! Yes, I believe we are." he shouted back to Aki, and then turned to Roxy "I'm sorry I have already made arrangements with my..." Elliot paused then continued is an apologetic voice "well with my girlfriend."
"Oh! that's OK I'm sure our paths will cross again, and what your good lady does not know will not hurt her!" the foxy female stated in a definite and commanding tone.
Ensign Thomas was concerned not only about the mission now but about the situation that he was getting himself into, he wanted to tell Roxy to leave him alone, however when he was around her he just wanted to be close to her and only her, was this some kind of mind control that was happening? he wanted to report to sick bay but with the CMO away it would fall on Ensign Mitshiba to treat him and if he told her about this he would most likely be the next person to go missing... except his would be permanent.
Elliot thought :: if this is mind control would the FCO be the best person to talk to? :: he knew that Vulcan's held a great deal of privacy about themselves and believed if he spoke with Lt. JG Derek Stormwind, he could keep things personal and private.
Elliot left Roxy and went into the ANUBIS along with Ensign Mitshiba to have lunch.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, in the Corridor on the deck of Elliot's quarters.

Akira turned to Ensign Thomas as they were walking to his quarters, "so what did that young lady, Foxy isn't it? want with you then? she was in kind of close quarters wasn't she?" she said in an abrupt tone.
"Well her name is Roxy and not Foxy" the COO said dryly and then continued "she just wanted help with moving the provisions".
"Looks like she was making all the moves, from what I could see." as Aki ended the conversation, again in the abrupt tone.
The rest of the time spent with each other over lunch was very quiet, and Elliot knew that he would have to make up for this later on in the evening, but right now he had to find out if there was any kind of mind control going on and if so it could be a big security threat.

Setting: USS ANUBIS, Leaving the COO's quarters

When the COO left Ensign Mitshiba he put his hand on his badge, and said "Ensign Thomas to Lt Stormwind".
=^= Yes Ensign Thomas, what can I do for you? =^=
"I need to speak to you alone Lieutenant, I believe there could be a security threat." the COO said an authoritative tone.
=^= A security threat?, I don't understand Ensign? I'm sure all things are covered. However if you believe there to be some kind of security threat then I would advise you to speak to Lt Uxtar." the Vulcan stated calmly.
"Perhaps so, but I think *I* maybe the threat! and your advice would be much appreciated." said Elliot quietly as he looked around him to make sure no-one could hear him in the corridor.
=^= Elliot meet me on the outer hull and we will talk about your concerns alone, as requested =^= again the Vulcan sounding calm as if everything was running normal.

"Ah Ensign, so why do you think you maybe a security threat?" the FCO said as he approached Elliot.
Elliot explained about how he felt he was being controlled when near the Roxy female and then went on to explain in a clear and well thought tone, "If she can control my feelings then maybe she can control thoughts also and make people do what she wants when she wants, and I believe this could be a threat to us all."
The Vulcan looked at him raising one eyebrow and said calmly "OK, I understand your concerns Ensign Thomas and I will personally speak to the Captain and Lt Uxtar about this, but at present I think it will be best for everyone if you report to Sick Bay, tell Ensign Mitshiba the Captain wants you to have a complete physical as she is spot checking members of the ANUBIS crew to make sure that the environment that we are in is not effecting any one. Someone will contact you soon."
