:: Ramblings Of A Wannabe Diva ::
Hello everyone, and welcome to the first edition of my column.  Those of you have been here before will noticed I've finally chosen a name.  It might not sound like much of a title to some, but I like it and it was basically the only thing I could come up with.  Being the huge fan that I am, I guess you could call me a wannabe diva.  Also, I have no real affiliation with the WWE or any of the Divas, so basically all I'm doing in this column is rambling.  So, there you have it - "Ramblings of a Wannabe Diva."

For my first issue I thought what I'd do is list each Diva and give a brief note of what my thoughts are on that woman.  That way, you'll have an idea of where I stand with each one of them.

Gail Kim: This is one diva who's debut I highly anticipated.  I'm a huge fan of lucha style wrestling so when I heard that she was a high flyer I couldn't wait to see her in action.  Since her debut I've seen many people diss her on message boards all around the web, saying that she can't wrestle and that she'll never compare to Lita.  Yes, she's messed up on a few moves since appearing on tv but who hasn't from time to time?  She won the Women's Title her first night on RAW so there was a lot of pressure put on her.  I for one think she's doing very well and I really enjoy every match she's in.  I think we only have incredible things yet to come from this Korean sensation.

Ivory: Like her.  A lot.  She's so versatile and entertaining that I'm never bored when she's on the screen.  She's a very talented wrestler and has portrayed some really different characters.  Also, from her interviews she seems to be very funny and a great person to be around.

Jacqueline:   I respect and admire Jacqueline.  I think she's a great wrestler and seems to be very focused and driven.  The only thing is, I can't really seem to catch on to the character she portrays on tv.  I have a feeling if she was put in a good feud or storyline I'd have a stronger opinion.

Jazz: She's tough, and she plays a really great heel.  In fact, she does it so well I can't even imagine her as a face.  I definitely wouldn't wanna come face to face with her in the squared circle.  A great wrestler, and real sharp in the ring.

Lita: My absolute favorite Diva.  She has a very unique look, she's quick, a high flyer, and most of all she has great charisma.  I get excited over every single match she wrestles in.  If you take a look around the web, you'll probably find that she's the diva with the most fansites dedicated to her.  She has been gone far to long and the WWE is going to explode when she makes her big comeback.

Jackie Gayda: I can honestly say I don't really have much of an opinion on Miss Jackie right now.  I admired the way she fought through the Tough Enough 2 competition with an injury to come out 1 of 2 female winners.  However, I just can't seem to take to the character she's playing on tv right now.  But, that's just my opinion.

Molly: This girl is an extremely talented wrestler.  She makes every match look good and has everything it takes to make a really great women's champion.  When she has the title around her waist, you believe it's there for a reason - because she's earned it.

Stacy: A really beautiful girl.  She has the ability to make everyone in the room (arena) look at her.  She has amazing charisma and is one of the best valets I've seen.

Terri: Great speaker, she does really well on the mic.  That's why the role of an interviewer really suits her right now.  Although, I'd love to see her manage someone and get involved in some ringside action at least one more time.

Trish: A favorite of mine, second only to Lita.  The way she's improved since her debut is nothing short of incredible.  Her mic skills are so much better and I can't say enough positive things about the way she's picked things up in the ring.  She was an amazing heel a couple of years ago and now she's one of the most popular female faces ever.  She's won so many of the Diva competitions and is a four time women's champion, a record only matched by Moolah.  We've seen some incredible stuff from Trish but I have a feeling the best is yet to come.

Victoria: The moment I first saw Victoria step in a ring, I knew she was going to be big.  Her wrestling skills are great and she has an excelleng presence.  Her current character is fantastic - she's a hoot to watch.  She's a great athlete and a great actress.

Dawn Marie: I'll admit, when Dawn debuted in the WWE I didn't like her - at all. However, since then I've really changed my mind about her.  I've seen her pick it up a little in the ring and seeing her perform live really impressed me.

Nidia: I've loved her since Tough Enough.  I rooted for her to win from the beginning.  She plays her character very well and is really entertaining.  I'd love to see her break away from Jamie Noble more and wrestle more singles matches.

Sable: As a person, she seems great enought but her character drives me crazy!  I can't stand the sound of her voice when she's taunting Stephanie or playing ring announcer.  I like the old sable better - the one who got in the ring once and a while.  (No offense to any Sable fans!)

Shaniqua: Not sure yet, waiting for her character to develop and to see her in the ring.

Stephanie: I love to see this gal in a cat fight or give a good slap, it just cracks me up - she's so entertaining to me.  I can't help but cheer everytime she knocks sable down.

Torrie: She obviously has amazing sex appeal (duh - she was in Playboy).  I was excited when she started getting in the ring more but was disappointed when she teamed up with Billy Gunn.  Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a lot of chemistry between the two.

Well, that's all for now.  Remember, you can email me or tag the board with your thoughts and opinions - I'll listen to all of them.  Also, feel free to give any ideas
for future columns.
