| History: Molly began her wrestling career wrestling in front of small crowds, some as little as 5 people, and wrestled at many indie shows before being asked by the Macho Man to train his then girlfriend Gorgeous George. For her efforts she was invited to work some matches in WCW and was signed up as a wrestler. She took on the name of Miss Madness and was a valet to the Macho Man alongside Gorgeous George and Madusa until she had a falling out with Madusa. She would later use the name Mona and wrestle mainly on Thunder, Worldwide, and Saturday Night in WCW while training the Nitro Girls and other divas in WCW and helping them learn how to do basic wrestling moves. Molly left WCW in 2000 and was quickly snapped up by the WWE in the fall of 2000 and debuted at the end of the year as Molly Holly, cousin and manager of Crash. She enjoyed a short feud with Trish Stratus. After that she was basically a valet for Crash until she began a short feud with Raven and his Ninja. She revealed the Ninja to be Tori but Tori left after this and never returned. Molly would then stay with Cash until she caught the eye of Spike Dudley and the pair would form and unlikely relationship, of course both the Holly's and Dudleys didn't approve and both Spike and Molly ended up going through tables. Molly would remain with Spike until the summer when she would dump him and join the Hurricane in the Alliance and this would be the case until March 2002 where Molly would finally leave the Hurricane due to the fat that Molly actually won the Hardcore Championship form him at Wrestlemania. Shortly after this Molly would drop the Mighty Molly gimmick and be known as Molly and she got a new look, new hairstyle/color and a whole new attitued as a heel and would begin a hot and very interesting feud with Trish Stratus. Molly made an appearance on the special WWE Divas Sex on the Beach tv show. She also appeared in the Divas 2002 magazine. At Backlash, she cost Trish Stratus the chance of regaining the Women's Championship. In May, she began a short feud with Terri which saw the pair face eachother in a swimsuit competition with Molly wearing a 1950's style swimsuit and Terri wearing a sexy bikini. Molly defeated Terri in a solid wrestling bout on the May 13 Raw. Going into June 2002 she began her feud with Trish Stratus once again and actually defeated her on an episode of RAW and earned herself a shot at the Women's Championship at King of the Ring. Thankfully, she own the KOTR match and was the new Women's Champion. She also gate-crashed the Divas Undressed Special in June but was taken off stage and removed from the building, for people who wanted to know, she was trying to make the show pure and wore and angel outfit. Molly has been wrestling in solid and entertaining matches since then and has recently regained the Women's Championship from Gail Kim on an episode of RAW. credit: redhotdivas.com |
