| History: Torrie's road to wrestling began at a very early age, though at the time, she didn't know this would be the start of her wrestling career. She grew up in a small town and l ived with her parents and 3 brothers. The brothers would beat her up and wrestle her often which was the start of her tough streak and road to wrestling. At high school she was a cheerleader and a good tracker and later went on to become a model which would taker her all the way to NY. She would later train to be a fitness model and eventually won the Miss Galaxy title. In 1998 Torrie and her then boyfriend went to a WCW house show in L.A and met with Kevin Nash and Scott Steiner. She had never watched wrestling before and on her first visit to a wrestling show she was asked by Steiner to walk him to the ring for his match. After this she was asked to do some more shows and eventually signed with the company. Her first major role in WCW was teaming with David Flair and getting him to turn heel on his father, Ric Flair. She would later leave David and side with Billy Kidman. The pair shared a lot of time together while on the reaod and fell in love in real life. She would later leave WCW for a while and return in 2000 alongside Billy Kidman and the pair would remain with eachother until she turned heel and joined with Shane Douglas. She began havieng problems with the WCW and left the company at the end of 2000. We heard nothing for the next several months but we revealed on RHD that she had had a meeting with the WWE which looked good and she later signed with them. Torrie would show up on a Smackdown and ask Vince if she could join the WWE and she would later screw him over and show him up in front of his wife, Linda. She than began a tag team feud alongside Stacy Keibler with Lita and Trish and later began a feud with Stacy which resulted Torrie beating Stacy in a Lingerie Match at No Mercy 2001. Torrie was now managing Tajiri and she took part in a Bahamas photoshoot in November 2001 and was on the front cover of the December issue of RAW magazine. For the start of 2002 she wasn't being used but this was changed in April. She was featured in the Divas 2002 magazine and also the Tropical Pleasure DVD/Video which were all released in April. She was starting to have problems with Tajiri in April when she cost him his title and following that he would treat her badly and put her down in front of everyone after each match and maker her wear robes that covered her entire body. Since then she has left Tajiri and became the girlfriend of Maven ans she started a small feud with Dawn Marie and Stacy Keibler in June and then went on to win all the competitions within the Divas Undressed Special. She was on the cover of the July issue of Raw magazine and has sexy pictures/posters inside the issue. She is also featured in the August issue of RAW magazine and took part in the 2002 Babe of the Year tournament. In September she defeated Nidia in a big one on one match and in October she graced the cover of the Divas Undressed video/dvd. She also appeared in the Divas Undressed magazine and bade it to the finals of the babe of the year competition but came in second to Trish. Torrie began a with Dawn Marie in October and defeated her in a Bikini contest as well as a Lingerie contest. Things heated up when Torrie found Dawn in the shower with her father. She wrestled and defeated Dawn at No Mercy. Torrie Wilson's theme music was featured on the WWE Anthology album that was released in November. She would continue her feud with Dawn Marie into December and her own father became a part of the storyline as he was set to marry Dawn Marie. At Armageddon Dawn Marie showed the world a video of herself kissing Torrie in a hotel room, Torrie did this to stop Dawn from marrying her father but Dawn went back on her word. Sadly the WWE killed Al Wilson in storylines and Torrie and Dawn finished the feud with a Stepmother vs. Step Daughter match on PPV. Torrie WIlson appeared in the May issue of Playboy magazine and the issue was extremely populare. This started a feud with the returning Sable who believed that Torrie could never be as great as Sable. The two engaged a a rather strange feud that involved both fighting and kissing. That feud has since been dropped as Sable has moved on to feud with Stephanie. Torrie was featured on the cover of the Divas Desert Heat video/dvd in 2003 and has recently paired up with Billy Gunn, acting has his valet to feud with Nidia and Jamie Noble. credit: redhotdivas.com |
