He was getting weary from sending all of the others through the void to their destinations. It was almost difficult to hold their exit points in his mind. So, when it was just Mayoke and him, Kokuuzou took a break. The spirit mage watched him with vague concern as he lay down and closed his eyes. "Just give me a minute, please. Sending all nine of us worlds and galaxies away is a draining task." he signed. The silver nodded her head. "Yes, rest. I can find your end point while you sleep." she murmured and touched a silver talon to his forehead. Instantly, Kokuuzou knew nothing more.
When he woke, Mayoke was watching him patiently with her silver-moon eyes. "Why didn't you wake me? Who knows what time we've wasted." the purple hissed, standing quickly and beginning a new transportation spell. The image of Mayoke's destination filled his mind as he did so, along with whispers of, "I leave you with where you shall go. Good luck, my old friend.", an affectionate touch and the spirit mage was gone. Kokuuzou was alone. Taking a deep breath, he began his last spell and let the image Mayoke had left him take over his body. A breath of cold air, and the void mage was gone.
Acerbu spun around to see what had caused her to squeal just in time to leap out of the way of a large, purple dragon skidding from the portals in much the same way as he himself had moments ago. "Kokuuzou?" he exclaimed once the purple came to a stop. "Acerbu? How..." The void mage rose slowly and shifted to human form as Acerbu had done. "I thought you said that we had to bring something back from different places." Kokuuzou shrugged and scanned the room they were in, eyes resting on the slightly awe-struck orange. There are TWO of you...are you sure you're not demons? She narrowed one purple eye at the both of them.
"We aren't demons, milady. Could you kindly show us to where we could aquire lodging?" Kokuuzou adopted his more flattering personality and bowed to the orange, who preened. Acerbu rolled his eyes and crossed his arms across his chest. Well, if you sign up for one of the clutches the lodging is free...I think...Anyway! You HAVE to sign up for them! You two would be perfect for the xeno clutch on the sands... she gave a slight shudder at the thought of the "xeno" clutch, whatever that was. Acerbu opened his mouth and was about to tell the orange off when Kokuuzou cut in. "Excellent, we would like to stand for your xeno clutch. Could you point us in the direction of...where it is located?" The orange warbled happily and nodded toward a wall of doors that opened to accept throngs of people or to spit them out.
Take those lifts up four decks and you'll be at the Hatching Bays. Someone can help you out there...'bye! the orange dragon called and scampered off to places unknown. "You actually want to stand at this xeno thing?" Acerbu asked, eyeing the taller void mage. "Yes, I do and so do you. I think these creatures bond to other lifeforms at birth, maybe that is what we'll need to push back Atrox. You saw how she reacted when she spoke of these xenos, they are feared amid the general population. Now come, let's hurry." With that, Kokuuzou began to jog toward the lifts in the corner, Acerbu trailing behind grudgingly.
