There isn't really much to say about this pig, except that he's really evil but cute... He seems to hate Tetsu for some reason, and apparently goes out its way to provoke Tetsu. This in turn will lead to a mad chase around the Shinsengumi Tonsho which will in turn lead to Hijikata getting angry which will lead to... (need i really continue?) Okita loves Saizou, and Saizou loves Okita. Off duty, Okita is rarely seen without Saizou. Some fans have speculated that Saizou is a little symbolic Hijikata. This is probably due to the fact that the kanji for Hijikata's name can also be pronounced as Saizou (information provided by Anne). Somehow i don't think Hijikata's gonna be very flattered when he hears he's being compared to a pig...
