Ichimura Tatsunosuke, older brother of Ichimura Tetsunosuke, is constantly having nervous gastritis over his highly erratic younger brother (this is most clearly evident in episode 9). He could be described either as a wimp or one who knows how to fend for himself. He apologizes fervently for his younger brother and always kowtows to the offended in question, even going as far as to fake a terminal illness to get Tetsu out of trouble. Tatsu is not good with his hands, and is not physically fit, but he has a knack for numbers. He also haggles like a housewife over the price of goods, (much to Tetsu's exasperation) though it does give them value for money. Tatsu cares deeply about Tetsu, and feels responsible for him. He acts like a substitute father for Tetsu, comforting him in times of need and enduring the jibes directed at him by Tetsu. Polite and practical, Tatsu is certainly one of the more pleasant characters in the series, though he is a little boring. Cheeky webmaster's note: I lurrve it when Tatsu lost it after her found out Tetsu went to Shimabara. The look on his face.. man.. worth a million bucks...
