LOGO History

Since its beginning in 1964 through acquisitions and divestitures, DPI people and equipment have served under many banners.  Here are some:

The original.  Roy Score sketched the first drawing (Although the flags were in the opposite directions).  Then Peggy Rutherford took it to a commercial artist friend of hers in Kansas City, Hal Barnes, and he did final drawing.

Russ DeBois wanted a new image when he became president in1969.
This logo lasted till NCR integrated us in 1979.
See Russ with the "Chiefs."

They did keep the original scrip font
for the full name for awhile.

Then it turned gold with block lettering on
memos and business cards.

For $150,000,000 and the promise
we would be independent.

After integration and NCR's change from block letters.

The "NCR Classic" created during the attempted
blockade of AT&T.

After several Billion $$$ and another
promise of independence.

And here they are today.  What will tomorrow's look like?
