Here's a little article that will help you avoid those kind of mistakes. Son Goku and Son Goten Ok, in DBZ, it's very simple to distinguish the two: Goku is older and taller, Goten is small and young. But when Goku has been shrank in DBGT , people often mistake pics of him in his small size for pics of Son Goten when he was young. Wrong! But how can you tell them apart, they look identical? Well, here’s some advises: If it’s written Dragon Ball GT anywhere on the pic, you are a 100% sure it’s Goku. If you see a grown up Trunks, Pan or Giru, it’s a BIG hint that it’s Goku in DBGT. If there’s a chibi Trunks in the picture, you’re sure it’s chibi Goten. If he has a tail, you’re sure it’s Goku ‘cause he makes his tail grow back in DBGT. Another fact is that Goten always wears an orange and black uniform, and Chibi Goku usually wears a blue shirt and yellow pants. Finally, I find chibi Goku’s skin darker than chibi Goten’s, but it’s not very simple to see it. But the best advise I can give you is to watch the last DBZ episodes and the first DBGT ones. Here’s a little test to see if you can tell them apart: Who is who? Answers bellow, to read them get a mirror, an image editor, or turn your monitor upside down :)
