| You walk through the gateway that Fae opened for you with her magic. Once you are safly through the strange hole in the air, Fae steps in after you, but doesn't close the gateway. You discover that you are deep in a forest of some kind. Fae turns to you. "This place is the home of a Lantern Light dragon: the child of Mire and Rikka. The Keeper, May, will tell you more and show you around a bit." When she finished, Fae turns and leaves through the gateway, which she closes behind her. You turn back to look at the forest, wondering if you should just start forward. You decied to go straight forward, hoping to run into someone. As you walk, you take in the surroundings. The trees are tall and thick, towering above your head, so far all you can see are leaves and branches. The space between the trees is open and free of underbrush. There is plenty of room for you to walk, ever run in. The few bushes that are in the forest bear fruit and berries. Small animals dart between the bushes and branches of the trees. You are looking at all of this, not really paying any attention to where you are going, which causes you to almost run into a girl walking in the opposite direction. |
| The dragon is dark red in color, with green leave patterns dotting him all around. He smiles kindly at you. "Hello. My name is Yuurin, which means deep forest in Japanese." You give your name. "Please to met you. I am a red earth dragon." You nod, understanding. A flash of movement off to your left catches your attention and draws your eyes. It takes you a moment to focus on the fast moving object. The thing flashes from tree to tree, then it is gone, only to reappear a few feet away. Finally, the thing stops moving. It slowly comes out of the trees, reguarding you with extream distrust. The little creature is about the size of a fox, but with very large ears and wings. It is a tawny color with black tips at the wings, tail and ears. Blue eyes stand out against the darker colors. You ask what it is. "That is Rei, a fennic from Dragon Moon. We found him here in the forest, but were never able to tame him. When Yuurin came, he became good friends with Rei. The little Fennic won't come around now, he doesn't like strangers." You shift your weight and the little fennic flashes back into the forest. Every now and then you can see flashes of tan between the trees. "Well, I thank you for visiting, and I hope you will come back again." You promise Yuurin to, and then start back through the forest... |

| You stop just a few feet away from her, gasping in surpise. She too is startled to see you as well. The girl is human, with waist length green hair. She is wearing a long green dress, belted at the waist. Her emerald eyes reguard you with suprise. "Oh my! I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you had already started through the forest." You tell her not to appoligize, that it was your falt for not paying attention. "Well, maybe we are both to blame." She says, but you can tell by her voice that she still believes it her fault. "Anyways, my name is May. Are you here to see the dragon?" You nod eagerly. "I thought so. When I heard you and Fae talking, I knew that she had brought a visitor. Come, follow me, and I will take you to the dragon's home. While we are walking, I will tell you a little about this place and the dragon living here." You agree, and fall into step beside her. "This place is called the Deep Forest, becuase we are deep in the heart of a very old forest. The dragon's parents, Mire and Rikka, are both Deborah's bondmates. When they became mates and decied to have a clutch, Deborah decied to keep one of their eggs. Since Mire is a space, and Rikka an ice, it seemed natural to have their child be an earth." After some time of walking, you reach the dragon's home. None of the trees had been cleared away to make a clearing, but instead, the trees were left where they stood, and the home had been build around them. In the center lay a large nest made out of dark red bark. In the center of the nest sits a wonderful dragon. |
