if i have not mentioned it earlier, let me do so now. i am particularly intrigued by what ashin says/writes. he is the composer of the band and he writes almost all of their songs, and it is exactly his writing that first attracted me to mayday. not to say i don't like the others, because i do. cliched but mayday won't do without any of them.

back to ashin: he seems like such an interesting character. watching him in action, in concerts, in interviews, in mtvs, he always projects a very boyish image. but in his child-like-ness, he must be a deep person to be able to observe what he observes, write what he writes and say what he says. it is amazing how someone can so complex and simple at the same time, and he, is exactly that.

* Introduction to "18be" album written by ashin. read it. it is fascinating. i think this would cheer anyone who feels tired of life, school and work up.
* "18be": an album that tries to capture the feeling of being in the grey area between childhood and adulthood. listen to it carefully. everyone will find something they can identify with in this album.
