| Cool thing from X-play:
They did 3 tests to see which console was more durable (GCN, PS2, or the X-Box). After each test they plugged the console into a tv to see if it would work. This was pretty evil but its worth knowing what console to have if youre one of those people who have to break things when you lose... argh dont break things or people, just accept that you were owned. The first test: Morgan (host) dropped a nice size wieght from standing on top of a chair onto each console. The PS2....bye bye already. The front panel and buttons just blew right off and who knows what the internal damage was. The gamecube was hit and it bounced! I had to laugh at that cuz i thought it was a gonner but all that happened was its cd opening hatch came open and one of the bottom things that hide the adapter plugins popped off, all of which was set back easily. The x-box got hit, but like the beast it is, it didnt budge at all. That thing is massive! The second test: Was taking a sledge hammer and hitting it like a golf ball. The PS2 is gone and its just the G-unit and the X-Unit now. The GCN went flying like a soccer ball or like when you see those people playing pollo or whatever that game is called that rich people play. It survived it seemingly unscathed. The X-box..... hahaha, this is funny. When she hit it it moved a few inches (if any at that) and thats it. So overall, both of them worked. The third test: Was dropping the poor, already beat-up consoles from like some sort of balcony in a parking garage onto a cement floor! The gamecube was up first and man did it hit hard. It did some crazy bouncing and the cd lid popped up again and was dented. I dont know what that G-unit did but it must of L-canceled right before hitting cuz it still worked even though the cd lid cracked (yet was still on the GCN). The x-box was up and thanks to physics, its mass was like that of a bear compacted into a box. Well, in the dramatic end of the x-box it pretty much blew up under its own weight. Its obvious that microsoft made the thing able to survie a rocket launcher but it forgot about its own mass turning against it. So in conclusion, the GCN won and those who are still skeptic were turned down cuz X-play did the test twice with the same results and the PS2 dies once again on the first test or any test for that matter. |
