My Winter Gardens- My computer art #8
   ThruThe Garden gate
The weather in Minnesota has been very  changeable these days.  Soon I'll be complaining it's too hot!   I've seen quite a few robins this past week and soon we'll see the Wren family  arrive in their summer cottage.  Now it's time to browse garden catalogs and check the garden centers to see if they  started stocking their shelves.  Costco and Walmart already have bags of Miracle Gro soil .

I usually spend a lot of time in my gardens, planting and, especially, moving things around.  It must  have a theraputic effect, like moving furniture. I seem to dive into this, like an addict every spring and fall.  Each year I promise myself "I'm NOT adding more plants this year." As we have a small yard, in  2006, I made an attempt to keep that promise and I'm not even mentioning 2007.
2008 Update: During the 2008 season I finally  kept my resolution!! It's now 2009 and it's another New Years resolution.
I'm trying to complete our family genealogy this year. This has been a 10 year project that becomes very addictive. I enjoy taking online computer courses and there are many free ones out there. If interested, check out the Favorites page for a link to online classes, gardening sites  and genealogy links. I always have many projects started and some are patiently waiting to be finished. My list of "must dos" grows every day. One might say " the older I get, the behinder I get " or in other words, I'm just getting  slower!
