Fortress Europe Study
Fortress Europe and the Impact on American Business Interests

Proposal for a grass roots (face to face) study of the evolution, development and potential consequences to American Business interests of de-facto and intentional Anti American isolationism in the European Economic Community.

Predicated on the increasingly obvious evolution of a “Fortress Europe” mind set within the European Union and based upon favorable consideration being given to emerging alternative market resources within the Broad European Community, I propose a grass roots evaluation of the evolving attitudes in Europe. This study should be conducted initially at the middle management level so as to ascertain the perception of those most actively involved in shaping corporate culture and transferring their sentiments into political action. This study will progressively be directed by the data as it unfolds. That is to say it will be a dynamically guided investigation driven spontaneously by the participant’s input and not by established economic or cultural assumptions.

Subsequent to interviewing middle managers, productivity workers and independent business advisors and consultants I intend to interview Local political activists to discover the driving forces behind local and national political initiatives. Finally it is my intention to compile a compendium of the top 25 “facts” as they have been presented to me and present this data to senior managers and executives for purpose of validation, repudiation or amplification. The factors to be aggressively investigated will not be limited business issues alone.

The study will take its direction from the answers being obtained. This study will focus on technology and service opportunities where intellectual property and brand exchanges should favor US business. This study will result in publication of a cause, effect and solution white paper. This document will become the property of the sponsor of the study to disseminate as they see fit.  Budgetary Details upon request.

Requesting $74,500.00, Duration of study 120 days, Published findings within 180 days of commencement.
