Kentucky POLSTONs in the Civil War

The following is a list of Kentucky POLSTONs who served in the Civil War. This information is taken from the "Report of the Adjutant General of the State of KY- Civil War - Union Soldiers, Vol. I and Vol. II."*

Included in this list are similar surnames that are spelled somewhat differently than P-o-l-s-t-o-n. It should also be noted that an individual may be listed twice; for example, if he re-enlisted his name would be repeated in the list. However, just because two names are the same does not necessarily mean that these are the same individuals. Oftentimes the only way to tell the difference is by ordering the military and pension records from the National Archives in Washington, D.C.
