Q1: What is the required training to get my Private Pilot's Certificate ? A1: Minimum 40 hours flight training. See e-Hangar for details regarding the regulations. Q2: How much money and time will I need to invest ? A2: Each student learns at a different pace and there are a number of aircraft available to rent which have different costs therefore the average cost associated with acquiring a Private Pilot's Certificate can range from $4,200 to $6,500 which includes necessary books, materials, aircraft rental and instructor time. Q3: Can I do this while I am working full time? Is your training schedule flexible ? A3: Absolutely. Most of our students have full time jobs and require a very flexible scheudule. Q4: Is there a certain amount of time that I have to do this in, or, can I go at my own pace ? A4: You can go at your own pace ! Although it is recommendable to fly at least once per week during your flight training, we can work at whatever pace is good for you. Q5: What kind of additional insurance will I need ? Is it costly ? A5: The insurance is NOT costly at all. In fact, part of your montly flying club dues of only $25.00 per month covers the necessary insurance. We will sit down with you after your first flight to discuss all issues regarding aircraft rental, insurance, dues, etc. You will also attend a new membership meeting to learn all about our flying club and it's benefits. Hopefully, you will meet some other student pilots and make some new friends in the process ! >>> CONTACT EBY AVIATION |
