Eliyahs Message

Bible Study Page #1

I am writing to you about an understanding I have regarding the Eliyah message. I believe it is Yah's will that you receive this message, so please give it serious consideration.

The name Eliyah means my Mighty one is Yah. El=MightyOne, i=my, Yah=the name of the Supreme Being. El+i+Yah=Eliyah.

In Kings 18, we learn that Eliyah believed himself to be the only prophet for Yahweh, and he was speaking against the many prophets of Baal. Baal translated into English is Lord. The fact that Baal and Lord are interchangeable can be found in dictionaries, and in many other places. Such as the Glossary of the New Jerusalem Bible. This message is about Yahweh vs. Lord.

Jer 23:26, 27 "How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophecy lies?...Which think to cause My people to forget my name..as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal (Lord)".

Did you know these times we live in are temporary? All mankind will either die, or live to see the end of these times. The Eliyah message pertains to these end times. The last thing we read in the Old Testament is Malachi 4, regarding the coming of that great day.

"Behold, I will send you Eliyah the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh. And He shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Mal 4:5.6. The End of The Old Testament. KJV

The day they are referring to is at the end of this world. Eliyah's message was Yahweh vs Lord (Baal). The message still applies because much of the world is giving their praises to the Lord, instead of to Yahweh.

Two verses above that warning given in Mal 4, we read "But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."This is one of many verses showing that the Divine Name is of utmost importance, especially in relation to the end of time. During this time of danger, safety is found in Yah's Name. I will attempt to show the importance of His Name in the remainder of this letter. Then you may want to look at this verse again. While you are in Malachi see also 1:6,11, and especially 3:16 where a book of remembrance is written for those who fear Yahweh and think upon His Name.

In all my study, and reflection I have found that the most important things written in Scripture are Love and His Name. I have also been given a strong urge to share the Eliyah Message, as I understand it. What I have to say may be controversial, and even offensive. My personal desire is not to offend. However my spiritual desire to share this message is of greater importance. Eliyah, other prophets, and The Messiah, were not concerned with making friends but in delivering a message. By their example, I follow.
