Children's Play Room/ Parent Works: An interactive parent support/education group.  Parents, grandparents or caregivers may bring their children ages 0-6 to play and interact while receiving support from the other parents and staff.  Hours are 9:30 to 11:30 Tuesday/Wednesday and Thursday Contact Vicki Dolan at 367-6477 from information and availability **Note:  the program is currently seeking funding for this year and may not be available.  Please call for information. CHIP is Pennsylvania's program to provide quality health insurance for children of working families that otherwise could not afford it.  It is not a welfare program.  To apply for CHIP Benefits call: 1-800-986-KIDS La Leche League: An international, non-profit, nonsectarian organization dedicated to providing education, information, support, and encouragement to women who want to breastfeed.  All women interested in breastfeeding are invited to attend or to call our Leaders for help.  Babies are always welcome at our meetings. Membership in La Leche League is $30 for one year.  The membership fee helps support local groups in our area and the international organization.  Membership benefits include a one-year subscription to NEW BEGINNINGS magazine and a discount on items purchased from the LLLI Catalogue. Lancaster meeting and contact information: Lancaster East: Meets the 3rd Tuesday at 7pm at Grandview United Methodist Church, 888 Pleasure Road, Lancaster.  Leaders: Dori 399-9790, Diane 560-0308 & Terri 290-7479. Red Rose: Meets the 1st Wednesday at 9:30am at Women & Babies Hospital, 690 Good Drive, Lancaster.  Leaders:  Kathleen 684-2974 & Linda 293-1441. Western Lancaster County: Meetings will be held the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 7pm. Meet at the Waldorf School located at 15 W. Walnut Street in Marietta. Please call Heather at 426-0143 for more information 2000 Child Protect: Center For Wellness (Member Lancaster Health Alliance) Lancaster General Hospital offers free immunizations against childhood diseases to children in Lancaster County.  This program is offered at Elizabethtown Ambulance Association, 171 N.
