Playstation Activision Classics
Activision has entered the nostalgia ring with a collection of Atari Classics for Playstation.
Pitfall, Kaboom and River Raid are easily the 3 biggest titles on the disk. Kaboom suffers control wise without the paddle controllers. This is a great disk for playstation if you want to relive some of the old atari classics. It includes 30 Atari VCS games : Atlantis, Barnstorming, Boxing, Chopper Command, Cosmic Commuter, Crackpots, Dolphin, Dragster, Enduro, Fishing Derby, Freeway, Frostbite, Grand Prix, Hero, Ice Hockey, Kaboom!, Keystone Kapers, Laser Blast, Megamania, Pitfall, Plaque Attack, River Raid, River Raid 2, Sea Quest, Sking, Sky Jinks, Spider Fighter, Stampede, Starmaster, and Tennis.
So if you want to play some old games without having to buy or hook up your Atari 2600, this collection is worth it. But for a purist, dust off that old 2600, because their ain't nuthin like the real thing, baby.
Playstation is for games like Grand Theft Auto 3, Bust a Move and Star Wars not Kaboom! But thanks anyway for trying Sony. |
