This page is under construction. It will primarily be for friends and family. It will also contain information about my continuing quest to visit all the National Parks which now number at about 380. Much to the chagrin of my family and friends, ever since my sister took me on a road trip to my first National Park in February of 1995 I have been what park rangers call a "Park Junkie." I travel around the country (whenever I can) with my faithful National Parks Passport book in hand and my eyes peeled for another park that I can just "swing by". My sister-in-law once said,'You drove 50 miles out of your way for a stamp in your book!?' Well, yeah. But its more than just the stamp. The stamp is just my little momento to say that I have visited another National Park and seen that much more of our great and vast country. To say you've seen Washington while never leaving Seattle, or to think you've seen Michigan when you've never crossed the Mighty Mac is a falacy. To really see the country you've got to get around! And the best way I've found to do that is to visit the National Parks. |

I Have Seen 85 Parks! |
I have added a new feature to the web page. I am attempting to put a small discription of each park listed below. After each description is a rating system designed by me. One star being the lowest, five stars being the highest. Some parks; however, will have more than one rating. Go look at it! |

Other Places Worth Seeing |
Ok. Even I have to admit that there are some great places to see that are not in any way related to the National Park System. Listed below are some of my favorites. Click on the links to see descriptions and pictures. |
