Emmanuel Baptist Church of Timisoara

Sunday, July 29th, we had a Church assembly in which we presented the planned for a future extension of the Church building which will start next year. The Church voted to extend the present sanctuary and to create new facilities for the Sunday School classes, the youth work and to provide better conditions for corporate worship than what they are now. Pray for this project and for the resources needed.

Teenagers from the Church will be in camp in Voronet for 10 days!!!!! In a breathtaking scenery of the mountains of historical province of Bucovina, close to the famous Voronet monastery, known for its paintings and the uniqueness of its blue painting, our young people will have the opportunity to get closer to God in the midst of nature and by studying His Word. Pray for a great changing effect in their lives as a result of this camp.

August 26th, will be the celebration of 10 years since when of of our mission churches in Oltenia (southern Romania) was planted. Started in 1991, by the tremendous work of brother Samoila Corneliu (one of our Church most dedicated missionaries) this Church grew from nothing to more then 100 membership today, in the midst of much opposition. Now is the time to thank God for His blessings upon His Church. A group of singers from our Church, together with Pastor Dan Males will attend the celebration and also to a baptism service with this occasion.

Also, in the same day, from 6 PM, there will be the opening of the new sanctuary in Comanda (southern Romania) and another baptism service to which the group from our Church will attend. Praise the Lord for these victories and pray that the Lord will continue to bless His work in the future!

Another joys awaiting are the dedication of the Church in Berini (Timis county, 50 km away from Timisoara) - which is another mission Church and entering in a provisory building for the Church in Giera, where our Church is also involved in church planting. We will appreciate your willingness to pray for God's work in these places, as well the work of God in our Church.
