In January 2003, Dr Ernest L. Molua created an endowment to fund the Molua Lecture Series. By bringing to the local universities each year a prominent economist, politicians and leading thinkers in Cameroon, the lectures are intended to provide the public better appreciation of the relationship between political decisions and the economic consequences of these decisions in paving the future of Cameroon. Overall, the lectures present and encourage debate on social, economic and political forces and how they shape Cameroon's march towards economic growth and development. The E. L. MOLUA Annual Lectures are held every November, at the Campus of the Pan-African Institute for Development (PAID-WA) in Buea. These Lectures co-sponsored with MAIC Consultants Ltd, will become part of the Centre for Independent Development Research [CIDR] Occasional Paper Series & Books. Please Email CIDR if you would like a list of E. L. MOLUA Lecture books available.
