Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, is the portable Kingdom Hearts 1/2 sequal, which
takes place right after Kingdom Hearts, and before Kingdom Hearts II. It starts off when
Sora wakes up to find themselves on a road in the middle of the night, when an
unknown appears. They tell the startled Sora that he can find someone very special
to him, but that there are sacrafices to this. Sora soon learns that he is in Castle
Oblivion. If Sora wishes to find that special someone, Sora and the gang have to go
higher and higher up the levels of the castle. However, going up the castle takes away
one's memories...
When going through Castle Oblivion, you revisit all the old worlds that you've played
in Kingdom Hearts, with a few new ones. You use cards to battle the heartless you
will face. Red ones are attack, blue ones are magic and summons, and
green ones are items.
The game is great, especially for a gba game. There aren't really too many tight
graphical cut scenes. Pretty much only two or three in the whole game. But playing
the game is satisfying. I mean, who can't like KH?!? The visuals of this game are
beautiful, the sounds are pretty good, and gameplay is pretty good as well. Fighting
heartless may seem a little repetitive after a while, so make sure you try to jazz your fightin
up with some sleights (ah, you'll learn what I'm talkin about in the game.) It is not as
good as KH, but it comes pretty close considering it's a GBA game. I'd give this game a
9.5 out of 10.
