Kingdom Hearts 2 will come out in Fall of 2005.

Kingdom Hearts 2 will obviously take place after KH: CoM, since the GBA game is right after Kingdom Hearts, making KH: CoM like Kingdom Hearts 1/2. The general story is that the heartless are appearing in many worlds once again, and are threatening the balance of life. Hallow Bastion is rumored that it is the reason for their return. So Sora, Donald, and Goofy head for Hallow Bastion. They arrive to see the world in total chaos. The essence of what they believe is darkness, which is coming from the castle, is warping the world itself. Before being able to go to the castle, they are surrounded by hundreds and thousands of heartless, some familiar, and some new. They have no choice but to fight, with the knowledge that very sinister things are going on, and it's only the beginning...

After doing some research, I've learned about some of the worlds that will be taking place in this sequal. We already know that Hallow Bastion is one, on the count of that that's pretty much where the whole story begins. Other known worlds that will be in the game, like the Fabled Countryside from Beauty and the Beast. It is said that you can go to the Quaint/Peaceful Village, the Forbiden Woods/Forest, and the Beast's Manor (I can't wait to fight in that ballroom! I love that scene...). You will also be able to go to Ancient Greece from Hercules, where you can go to Thebes, the World of Mulan, Mount Olympus (with Collisium), the Underworld (partly tournament based), the Castle in Agrabah, and I have also heard that there is a level for the Pirates of the Carabean. Now that'll be interesting..

It is also practically factual that you will be able to go to Nottinghampshire (Robin Hood). Pride Rock (Lion King), Camelot (Sword and the Stone), and Prydain (The Black Couldrain).

It is not certain, but it is also very heavily rumored that you will also be able to go to Victorian London (Great Mouse Detective) and somewhere from the Jungle Book.

Yay! Bosses! Or at least are supposedly bosses. Not quite sure. They include DarkSide, Nessus, the Hydra, the Titans, the Cyclops, Auron ("a lost soul, looking for redemption" man he looks tight!), Cerberus, and Hades. Hades, Captain Hook, and Jafar are supposedly returning in the sequal.

Also, there's a new way that you'll be obtaining abilities! Yay! Ok, here's how it works. You will be judged on your total percentage of world beaten, overall time to beat a world, total vanquished enemy, battle performance, magic adept, party cooperation, group participation, special rating, and overall performance. Once the scores are all added up, you will get a certain ability. The better your score, the better your ability. The worse, well, I think you get the point.

Wow. That's a lot of info. Well, I'm totally syked for the game. Rating system for abilities? That's a lot of pressure on me. Must... do... good... or... I... will... faiiiiil... Man, now I have to do a lot of work. But I'll do it for you guys. =)
