| Crazy eights were the story of the night as Mike Endres took down his second tournament, giving him an extra 4000 in chips for the Main Event in December. Keith & Mike are the only two with doubled up chip counts. Along the way, Mike Endres was taken down 3 times by opponents holding pocket eights, including one time when he called an all-in with pocket sevens. In that instance, he was teased as the first community card gave him trips, only to have the river give his opponent a straight. All's well that ends well as Mike won the tournament with pocket eights of his own. Mike won in June holding pocket nines. Tammy Mead had a good showing, winding up in 2nd place.
