The Main Event will be held at the end of the season on Tuesday, December 5th of 2006. The match will start at 6:30 PM sharp. Anyone showing up late will be blinded out. If an hour passes before they arrive, their spot will be forfeit. Your spot at the Main Event is non-transferrable.
To win a spot at the Main Event, you had to win one of the WPT's monthly tournaments. If you won multiple months, you will go to the Main Event with more chips (Keith Mead & Mike Endres have done this)!
The Main Event will be held at the luxurious Waterchase Club House!
Each month, 1/4 of the tournament money was taken out and set aside for the Main Event. The winner also gets to take home a trophy, making them the WPT 2006 Champion! |
