2006
Rules
The Wyoming Poker Tour follows the rules of Texas Hold 'Em No Limit Poker.  The blinds start at 25/50, then raise to 50/100, then raise to 100/200.  From there, the small blind goes up 100 every time.  Blinds raise every 20 minutes.  When it gets down to heads-up action, the dealer is always the big blind.  Tables combine accordingly as people drop out.  For example, if there are 2 tables of 8, then as soon as 8 people go out, the rest combine for one table.  Tables never exceed 9 players.  There cannot be 2 tables until there are more than 9 players, or 3 tables until there are more than 18 players, etc.

Each month, a new person "hosts" a tournament.  They decide on the location, the day, the time, and the buy-in.  The buy-in cannot be less than $5.  The Host is also reponsible for determining how the pot will be divided out.

The buy-in gets you $4000 in chips.  They are divided out as follows:

White Chips  (25)x14     $350
Red Chips    (50)x13     $650
Blue Chips    (100)x10   $1000
Green Chips (500)x4     $2000

Once the first tables combine, the Red & White Chips will be replaced by the Black (1000) chips.  After the blinds reach 1000 / 2000, the small blind starts going up by 500 each level:  1500 / 3000, 2000 / 4000, 2500 / 5000, ect.  Once this starts happening, the blue chips are replaced by black chips.

1/4 of the monthly tournament pot is always set aside for the Main Event that will be held in December 2006.  To earn a spot at the Main Event, you must win one of the monthly tournaments.

If a person is skilled and lucky enough to win 2 tournaments, they will go to the Main Event with double the amount of chips as would someone who only won 1 tournament.  Win 3 tournaments and it's triple the amount of chips and so on so forth.  So, if you've already won, start building up your chip count!
