| Mike Endres won a spot at the Main Event. Liz Kreager, who finished in 2nd place, has a new nickname: "7 Duece Off-Suit." She knocked out 2 other players with a 7 - 2 all-in call pre-flop. In heads up play, she beat out Endres' pocket 10's, but finally succumbed to his pocket 9's. There were some tough breaks, including Mindy Church's all-in pocket Jacks getting taken down by pocket Queens. Or Mike Church's full house getting beat by a bigger full house. For the first time, Ashlee & Jena didn't make the final table, but Ashlee still retains the point lead. Andy Abbott did a great job setting up the event, including rolling 4 huge tables down into his basement (thanks Andy!). We are past the half-way point of the season. Only 5 spots remain to the Main Event. |
